10 performance rims that look great on any sports car

From Subarus to Ferrari, these rims are enough to improve the appearance of any sports car on the road and on the track.

The rims are probably the simplest part of the car’s mechanics, because of course...they don’t move! However, the nuances of the past make them deeper than most of us think. A great rim must first be strong and require a lot of cornering G, and it must be able to cool the brakes, reduce the unsprung weight, and control the air compression behind the tires. Usually one to three pieces of metal turned out to be one of the most important parts of a performance car, and we haven't even mentioned the appearance yet!

Each rim here has checked the box above, but to make this list, it must also be sexy. If it can continue to use the 1995 Civic Si and the new Koenigsegg Jesko, then we can start business! To be sure, this is a difficult task, but with some imagination and augmented reality software, we can narrow the scope. The end result is almost always a clean, customized look, letting others know that your car is out of stock...in a good way. If they are suitable for cars, these rims are rims to consider, it seems "don't even try to race with me".

These are claimed by OZ Racing as "the most famous 6-spoke wheels of all time!" We think they are not wrong. This is not to say that they are basic, but they seem to really fit the image of any modern car or car that tries to look modern. These monolithic wheels adopt low-pressure casting process and aluminum alloy (Al Si 7 Mg) heat treatment, which can withstand abuse.

In our opinion, the silver finish is the best appearance of this rim, but "Matt Bronze" can also withstand scrutiny. If they look after the BRZ/86, it is because its design is similar to the stock rims provided, but it also looks good on the S4 in the picture. Yes, we often see them on Porsches.

BBS is known for being expensive, and these two-piece rims are no exception. In fact, the most expensive aftermarket wheel is BBS. Not to confuse them with any other modern rims, having a set is very flexible, but not just because of the higher cost. The rims are light and very resistant to wear and dents under the heat of speed. Although there are many BBS and much less, this is a problem that needs to be solved...

Although these rims look good on any car, they certainly have their own followers and some styles that not everyone will agree, but we are not here to get people to "agree" with us. After all, Henry Ford said, “If I ask people what they want, they will say faster horses.” If you can afford high-end performance and a younger, modified/customized look, then these are your options Rims.

These are one of our favorite rims of all time, because they make any vehicle automatically look faster and faster. The dual 6-spokes are set in the rim in some way, making it look perfect for performance, aggressive, and even powerful. Frankly speaking, these look great on a minivan, and even better on a Lamborghini! Having said that, they are not purely solid race cars, but they are still refined and able to show off Brembo brakes.

The design was originally inspired by motorsports. As far as the Konig brand is concerned, they are hailed as one of the best choices in terms of price per quality, and since they are not priced like some cheap Wal-Mart Iron Man, it’s really What are you talking about? Sill, the price point is often reasonable, and we have almost no other rims that can exceed it.

Although not many other rims are made like this, these clean boys are forged while spinning at high speeds to produce the molecular strength that speeding cars rely on. Therefore, this alloy is harder and harder to break. Although they are already very light, this method also makes the exterior lighter and reduces the mass of rotation. This is the "rotation with your arm" in physics class. But we are talking about appearance here. As a bonus, these rims are so new and unique that the only image we can find is TSW's own Audi model! Maybe it's a sign? A reliable discovery edge from a well-known company? In the future, even?

The six bold spokes seem to extend all the way to the rubber, so black is the ideal color here. Although any car can get aesthetic benefits from rims that look so beautiful, they certainly have...style. The ideal result would be low-profile tires with wider wheels to make it look clean, not like the chrome-plated pimps of the 90s, but a luxurious racing car, very suitable for cars like Hyundai Audi.

Yes Yes. As shown in the picture, the BBS CH-R looks good on the Toyota C-HR, but it is a waste to see that the CH-R is known for its lack of power. We can see that there is no relationship between the names. This is not the reason for making these rims at all! Although they are not the lightest, they are excellent gateway performance rims, and they are not too expensive for BBS. If silver is your color (or titanium color), then these are your choices.

They also come with a redline version to make your car look like Hotwheels. In our opinion, this is a good thing, especially in the case of certain racing cars. Seven split spokes (or wishbones or whatever you call it) add to the appearance by making the wheel look smaller but still sturdy. The slight dish shape in the middle creates a smooth and in line with the appearance of the sports car series, especially in the cars of the 90s.

These wheels are what some might call "dish-shaped" or "deep-dish-shaped". Embedded spokes and protruding outer rims do not improve performance by themselves, but can make your car as strong as a rice car, but they are not some unrealistic big chrome-plated "salad bowls". Although these are best suited for low-rise cars, fortunately, they have many non-chrome and monochrome options, such as our old friends, matte bronze, or even white. Gold is our recommendation for WRX.

On high-end cars, chrome plating is a bold and cool choice, but black also has this dangerous, "secretly winning pink slippery" appearance. Due to price and quality, rims are still the best choice for low-end cars: each rim is about US$200-400. This is certainly not cheap, but it is far from the most expensive. The brand itself is embossed on the side. It is worth asking us because the rim was developed in cooperation with professional Redbull drifter Kiki Sak Nana.

Somehow, these rims tend to appear on AWD vehicles. You will most likely see them on Nissan Skyline GT-R (R33/R34 or even Hyundai R35) and other models. They are also very suitable for Porsche. These rims have a very square appearance and are ideal for cars equipped with track-specific tires, and even tires with off-road treads covering the corners. The cornerstone appearance is Volk Racing TE37 rims and tires with white lettering! Ah! It looks good.

These rims usually have a different color banner or logo on a spoke, so racing uniforms or cars with letters are very suitable for wearing. And, as the name suggests, they are for racing! In fact, Volk is the inventor of the unofficial forged wheels (this is a complicated history, but they did adopt this method faster than most people, which is important, right?). The wheels are checked for lightweight, well-known and proven boxes on the track. Apart from the somewhat high cost, we have no reason not to buy these.

If we do not add rims with more spokes and enter TSW Sebring, we will be negligent. Although this more complex appearance does not necessarily come from the sporty appearance of the car, it does tend to make the car look like a mid-to-high-end luxury car, or even just an expensive sports car. Although they look very cool and unique even on cars over 10 years old, they look even more amazing on new cars, especially cars and SUVs.

This is the best option if you want to look in stock or without excessive modifications. Available in titanium silver and matte black, both are very suitable for maintaining the appearance of the factory. In order to obtain a split five-spoke overlapping design, they had to invent a new manufacturing process for their forged rims, and frankly, the results were hypnotic. The cost is not in this world!

If this rim looks like it belongs to a professional off-road vehicle or a drift car, it is because it does. These rims are not the rims you bought to show off when you parked at Walmart. These are the rims you buy to effectively show where it really matters. Side note: According to Enkei's own website, the rims are called "RP(zero)3" and/or "RP(oh)3". The design is designed to look like a "big one," with the spokes appearing to cross the rim.

In more words, the spokes are curved in the middle, "adding a 3-D look to a large-engine racing car" (enkei.com). Due to the increase in visual size, they are very suitable for any car that can use a simple five-spoke appearance and a design curve that does not deny your ability.

Are these expensive? Suppose you need to enter your full name and address to get a quote. Are they fancy? Assume that there are more than 74 finishes and colors to choose from. If you want to know if these look good on Ferrari, um...yes! That is where we usually see them. This wheel looks very inconspicuous on the Internet, but as you can see, its five-spoke frame from the 80s is actually very complementary to modern cars.

Naturally, HRE claims that these rims are suitable for off-road vehicles and every car, although we have not seen it yet (probably because of the price point), we believe them! They are forged in California, USA, and provide a lifetime warranty and a two-year finished product warranty! In this list, no other rims even offer the former! Most importantly, they used "aerospace grade 6061-T6 forged aluminum" to obtain some ore from the fighter aircraft industry. (HREWheels.com)
