The website states: "These amazing projects show the world the range of outstanding works created by architects and highlight the many ways buildings and spaces can improve our lives."

"It is marked with the iconic zigzag profile, covered with mirrored stainless steel and located under the extended aluminum plate. The materials of the façade are matched with each other, giving a feeling of quality and depth, which changes with different sunlight conditions and evening atmospheres. ," the website said.

The Polygon Gallery officially opened to the public in 2017.

Last year, Patkau Architects was awarded the Governor's Architectural Medal for his work at the gallery.

On behalf of everyone at The Polygon, we are very proud to congratulate John and Patricia Patkau and Peter Suter of @PatkauArchitect for announcing that @AIANational has awarded our building the 2021 Architecture Award. https://t.co/3XHAcGy4yz pic .twitter.com/asglZhqadd
